Despite having weekly English lessons with another native speaker already, I've signed up for Kathleen's lessons to correct my pronunciation, but with no detailed expectations.

I was surprised to learn that I was making errors in my speech that I was unaware of before. Kathleen's systematic and professional approach, which started with analyzing my speech, teaching me the proper pronunciation of various sounds, and evaluating my progress, was truly effective, and she helped me fix 80+% of these issues permanently.

Now, I am confident in my pronunciation, others better understand my spoken English, and I am more confident teaching our little one English.

Kathleen`s accent modification course, which I took in 2022, was a multifaceted and very enjoyable experience. It was quite clear from the first lesson that speech and speech therapy is a subject that Kathleen has been pursuing for many, many years. She was hence not only able to quickly identify what I should focus on and change in my speech, but also explain, clearly and simply, what speech patterns in my native tongue create an accent. And through this, achieve amazingly quick progress by concentrating on a few key areas (I would write "few key mistakes'', but Kathleen does not use that word in relation to accent - as in her own words, accents are manifestations of individuality and uniqueness, and she never tries to eradicate it - lest you are a professional speaker).  As a result, I was able to improve my communication skills considerably, in terms of intelligibility, confidence, and mere enjoyment of speech. Even now, after several years, I still easily recall Kathleen`s suggestions - which is a testament of Kathleen`s teaching skills. I reminisce about the classes fondly and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone keen to improve their English.
